Surface Friction Tester
BHM01/02 Surface Friction Tester is used for the accurate measurement of airport surface friction. It is the special instrument to guarantee the security of plane’s landing and taking off. The vehicle is equipped with water tank and watering system itself, which possesses general applicability and can be applied into concrete surface or pitch covers as well. The constant automatic measure length can be set within 7000 meters and this vehicle is able to work normally despite of rainy or snowy days.
Main Features
Safety Design Concepts
The original chassis, suspension system, fuel system, and ABS braking system of the vehicle remain unchanged to ensure the overall safety, performance, and quality of the vehicle. The recessed area in the trunk has been reinforced and equipped with a complete testing system, which not only does not weaken the vehicle's structure but also makes it stronger. Our philosophy is "Buy a good car and use it well, ensuring both safety and efficiency.
Water Sprinkling System
The system includes a water tank, water pump, water pressure sensor, valves, pipes, and a regulating system. The water tank is made of engineering polypropylene material, with capacities of 580L and 620L, meeting the requirement for continuous water sprinkling tests over a distance of no less than 7000 meters.
Acceleration Performance
The Ford Taurus 2.7T, Honda Acura, and BYD Tang have powerful engines and faster acceleration, capable of reaching a testing speed of 96 km/h within 200 meters.
Electronic Calibration Device
The calibration instrument used during calibration is an external electronic calibration device, which is highly accurate and easy to operate.
Computer Control
An industrial touch screen laptop with a Chinese Windows operating system is used. The testing software employs a Chinese drop-down operation. The computer can be pre-programmed, with friction coefficient values ranging from 0 to 1.0, allowing for continuous testing.
Test Tires
Specialized treaded tires for friction coefficient testers that comply with CAAC, ICAO, and FAA regulations are used. The tire material is the same as that of aircraft tires, and the working pressure of the test tires is 0.7MPa.

We use an industrial-grade laptop with a Chinese interface, suitable for tough conditions in China, which greatly improves reliability. Application Achievements
There are currently over 200 application achievements, including 4 units at Daxing Airport, 3 units at Capital Airport, 3 units at Wuhan Airport, 2 units at Chongqing Airport, 2 units at Zhengzhou Airport, and units at Xi'an Airport, Urumqi Airport, Sanya Airport, Kangding Airport, and Manzhouli Airport. Among these, there are 9 high-altitude airports and 17 plateau airports.
