Multilateration/Wide Area Multilateration
The system uses the Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) of the signals received by the base station to achieve accurate, reliable, and real-time positioning and identification for airborne or ground-based aircraft, operational vehicles, or other targets with Mode A/C/S signal transmission capabilities. At the same time, the system can also receive and process standard format ADS-B signals (1090ES) to form an ADS-B surveillance target, serving as a redundant means of multi-base station measurement, positioning, surveillance, or independent output. This fulfills the application requirements for high-precision target monitoring in various environments such as airport surfaces, terminal areas, and wide areas (air routes and airspace).
Functions
- Surface inquiry
- ADS-B information fusion
- Target synthesis situation display
- System monitoring management
Applications
Dozens of domestic airports: Wilson Airport, Kisumu Airport, Malindi Airport, Mombasa Airport in Kenya.
Features
- A cost-effective solution for the surveillance of surfaces, approaches, and en-route operations.
- Identifies all targets equipped with Mode A/C/S transponders or ADS-B equipment.
- Dual synchronization: GNSS synchronization for signal time-stamping and beacon transponder synchronization for backup.
- Features high positioning accuracy, high update rate, high reliability, and convenient remote maintenance.
